



Media Advocacy
CASER adopted the use of the mass media to carry out targeted advocacy in the promotion and protection of human rights particularly Economic, Social & Cultural Rights (ESCR) in Nigeria. The goal is to carry out effective human rights education using trending issues in the media.
CASER has entered into partnerships with the O & M Show on Africa Independent Television (AIT) and the Management of Crowther Radio Love 104,5 FM to promote human rights related programming.
CASER Executive Director, Frank Tietie is the radio host and presenter of The Omnibus Human Rights Showwhich airs daily on Love 104.5 FM, Abuja. He is also the associate producer of the O & M Show. on Africa Independent Television (AIT)
CASER sponsors two online platforms viz:-
Legal Matters, Nigeria – Which enhances citizens’ understanding of basic principles of law and the workings of the Nigerian legal system.
Consumer Watch, Nigeria – Provides citizens with intelligence to ensure quality products and services to for improved living standards.
CASER has also pioneered the call to the National Judicial Council to approve live broadcast of court proceedings in Nigeria to ensure transparency of justice delivery.
The human rights message of CASER has received the recognition of major Nigerian radio and television stations with newspapers and online news companies.
CASER executive director, Frank Tietie has made a record of more than 450 combined media appearances within the last two years in more than 10radio stations including Radio Nigeria and not less than 6 television stations including Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Channels Television.
